More than 126,176 dogs were picked up by local authorities over the last 12 months, an increase of 4% on the previous year which equates to 345 stray dogs being found every day and these figures do not include the many dogs that are taken direct to animal sanctuaries.

After reading a couple of stories recently regarding animal cruelty I just can’t believe how some people can be some careless and the lack of disregard some seem to show for the life of another. One story that caught my eye in particular was the story of Pink. Pink had been dumped over a fence into someone’s back garden.
